This year was special for me. I had a great opportunity to visit London and Dublin in a Christmas period. Actually, it was a first time in my life, being somewhere out of a country in a late December. Decided to share travel experience in my blog with you. I have been to London several times before, so this time I will concentrate on Christmas accents.
Big and small streets were spreading Christmas atmosphere, full of colorful lights and people struggling for shopping. The smell of ginger bread and mulled wine makes a Christmas spirit even stronger.
The walk along Oxford street and Carnaby street was very enjoyable. Getting lost in small and bright side streets was a big fun too. The most impressive was a visit to a Winter Wonderland in a Hyde Park. You can watch the spectacular shows, the thrill seekers can have a ride with roller coasters. Don’t forget to meet The Santa and have a meal in a Bavarian Village.
Dublin, of course, was charming by cozy bars very rich decorations for Christmas, life Irish music and people in Christmas sweaters. I was astonished, how nicely people create this holiday mood by dressing themselves up, decorating buildings and singing Christmas songs.
